* Toluca’s new bike sharing system
* Guadalajara’s phase two of its MIBICI program

Montreal – PBSC Urban Solutions is pleased to announce it has signed a contract with the City of Toluca, Mexico to supply all the equipment for its brand new bike-sharing system. PBSC’s Mexico presence continues to grow as the City of Guadalajara also recently confirmed the company would complete the second phase of the already successful MIBICI bike-sharing program.

The City of Toluca issued a request for proposals in April of 2015 seeking a company to supply all the required components, including bikes and docking stations, for a new bike-sharing system comprised initially of 27 stations and 350 bikes. Four international suppliers participated in the RFP process, which was concluded last week with the formal selection of PBSC.

“We are extremely pleased to expand our presence in Mexico. We could not be prouder to collaborate with Mexico’s greenest cities and provide their citizens with a complementary transportation option that will positively impact their lives and benefit the entire community,” said Luc Sabbatini, CEO of PBSC Urban Solutions. “We look forward to leveraging our unique technology and proven reliability to make Toluca’s new bike-sharing program a true success and a world-class landmark for the city. We also look forward to expand our already solid relationship with the City of Guadalajara”

Following the successful launch of the Guadalajara MIBICI bike-sharing program in the fall of 2014, the city once again put its confidence in PBSC to deploy the project’s second phase. A total of 840 bikes and 120 docking stations will be added, for a total system of 2,116 bikes and 242 stations throughout the city.

PBSC has proven to be a true leader in the fields of urban transportation, having delivered projects of all sizes in many cities across the world. Its bike system was created to ally form and function, making the transportation system a harmonious whole, and one that is an enhancement to the urban landscape of a city.
